The Shopping Trolley of Dreams

Swedish exam is over. Feelin good. We had a big one last night to celebrate all of our schoolly achievaments and such. Even though Myk has like 5 exams still. Ha.

Anya and her now boyfriend Daniel came over for some wine and impromtue Girlicious inspired dance routines by Myk, Jelena and I. heres a taste..

After that we head on the loud, rowdy bus to Aka, after Daniel (Canadian's) birthday party thing at Sokertoppen which was mental.

We continued this dance routine at Aka, performing it for all at the bathroom line, the D-floor, and even on the stiarcase.

Then this happened..

Thats all for now really.

Fever

Back from another trip to Göteborg today. This time we were on a mission.

Perri's dizzy spells prevented her from attending, but we made do without her blissful aura. We booked tickets to Fever Ray months ago, and it kept escaping my mind. Anya hooked us up with accommodation with a German guy she met on a flight from Munich to Göteborg. Only Anya. So anyway we ended up chilling with him, and he took Perri's ticket to the gig.

Anya also hooked us up with a Swede. Her good friend Daniel came along for the adventure and helped me out partially with my Svenska. Dans a really sick dod kinda guy tough. Chill like a Swede and dances like a Russian when the beat presents itself.

So we met Armin (cool as german dude) in Haga, a boho disctrict of Göteborg whilst we were mid fika. Then we went up to the hill where i went on my last trip to G'burg with Linus and Agnes. We sat on the edge and downed a bottle of red wine in the sun, which visted us briefly. Armin is like us, an int. student in Sweden and enjoying the lifestyle.

We looked in some shops, unfortunatly Myrona was closed, I was looking forward to taking Anya there! But we went to willys and picked up some dinner supplies instead. Armin had a cute little apartment for 1, with a mini bathroom and kitchen. It was only 5 mins from the centre as well.

After talking about Power Rangers and German lesbians, and downing a bottle of karamel likör, we went to the city and qued at Storan (the venue). the bus trip drunk was hilarious. Storan was a huge beautiful old building which hosts some big names. The show was incredible. that crazy bitch had a bigfoot/viking costume that covered her face, it was very scandy.

Her band had the sickest outfits too, and a shadowy figure in a wolf mask joined her on stage for a bit, her brother perhaps? unfortuantly she didnt do any songs from The Knife, but its what to expect from a solo project.

After visiting the best 711 int he universe, we ended up at a club called Sticky Fingers, which Armin recommened. This place had a sick band called Suburban Kids With Biblical Names playing, who id heard about before on a poster at school, turns out these bastards are playing in Jönköping on friday, and after the way we danced for them that night, we will be back.

After gettin our fingers sticky we went back and had an fucking great nights sleep at Armins bacheor pad. And i saw a squirrel :) And spent $$ at the Weekday store.. again. Im bad.

Vi ses.

Up One Pitch

I am sad to announce that a good friend has died. Bordum. That slut. Yes, I am not sure how, but suddenly and painfully that hoe died a few days ago.

So Agnes had a Melodifestivalen party to celebrate the crowning of Sweden's next sparkle wearing, pitch changing, back-up-dancer-utilising, schlager-licious Eurovision entry. Jasper and I downed a 4 litre box of wine and danced to Samantha Mumba with Anya, Agnes, Linus and assorted Swedes. After watching painful performances and our favourite (Agnes Carlssons' "Love Love Love"), helping the vertically challenged Karin out of the toilet and into her correct jacket, and crowning Marlena Ehrman as this years Swedish entry to Eurovision (in Moscow in May), we head off to Bongo for some stuff I cant remember.

Ah. Then Theres been work. I have a butt load of Swedish to study for. Infact I had to listen to a man (no joke) called Hans Christiansson (extremely close to my old bud HC from CPH), babble about religion in Sweden today in the last Swedish-culture class. It was intruiguing when he told us about his Russian wife's talent at massage.

But I have been to an awsome dinner party at Anya's, featurinf Polish, Spanish, Dutch, Australian, and German guests, I have stayed up late and played DS (mainly Mario Party and some crazy japanese game where you dance) with Jasper for the last 3 nights in a row.

Oh I also saw watchmen today. With Svensk-subtitles. It was pretty good. Took a while to warm up but an above satisfactory feature. Well then, I may not blog for a bit as i'm going to be stttuuddyingg quite bit. Dont be too upset.

Sexy Ghetto Bitch

When Råslätt gets a little boring.. you need to pass the time with movies, photo shoots and procrastination. I'm becoming professional.

My hotdog painting is rapidly increasing. I keep adding bits and peices. Jasper thinks it should be a sailing ship, i'm thinking viking style but we'll see.

Myk, Perri and I have been chillin. Anticipating our Lithuania trip and pretending to study. My web design group is solid though, i think she'll be right.

Boredum can fucking suck on my bajon.

Va?

There is a lady bug in my kitchen.

I don't want to do my Svenska homework.

I got pizza cravings from watching Desperate Housewives again.

I am adding to the giant hotdog painting in my room.

I an still itchy as fuck.

Last night was semi-dramatic but mainly bland.

I am anticipating the new Utada album.

Russians make bus trips much more fun.

Where My Spring At?

Tjena!

Its like March. I want some warmth 'n stuff. So this week has been full on. I had classes or group meeting or STV or something on everyday, with not much time to relax. And now I have this massive web desgin project, and a whole lot of other things on my to-do list. Not a fan of to-do lists really. This ment I didn't go to aka on Wednesday (and now Candian Dan's gonna murder my family), but there was a chance for us to go on Friday and Saturday instead, as students from all over Sweden were invited to come party with us. This turned out to be goody.

Friday night turned out to be dramatic, But not all drama is bad. I had an awsome time dancing with crazy people, had more run ins with Latvians and basically just had a good one. Jasper was back from Kiruna and we hung out for a bit too. Perri, Mykolas and I were taking over the podium with this crazy Russian guy Vladimir, who puts everyones dancing skills to shame. But this horrible cover band played, which the crowd practically booed off the stage.

But the best part of all this was Saturday night, when me and Anya, along with a team from STV had a paid gig to film this local Jönköping punk band called Rünkbändet (roughly translates to The Wank Band). They basically write songs, på svenksa, about cocks, tits, sex etc. whilse wearing outfits such as a nurse's mask matched with a kilt, or some smudges lipstick, or wrestling masks paired with red suspenders. They have a big cock on there sign on the stage, thats enough said I think.

So we arrive at akademien at 5pm, the earliest and soberst i'd ever beent there, but just to set up the angles of the cameras and stuff. Patrick, Sandra, and Manuela (the Swedes from STV) liased with the band in the green room. They looked like dirty guys. like really dirty. I didnt really know what they were saying but i could pick up from his stank attitude that they were kinda lame.

Then, after a Max date with Myk and P-dizz, and after wathcing the JJ episode of Skins, we head into town for the big performance. Perri patiently stayed with us through the boring bit, but then went off to the Salsa party at ATP. The band was great, even though there was much novely value as there was face-paint, it was refreshing to live music, and there attitude was pretty hilarious.

Oh yeah and there was a 7 year old kid working the bar. he hot.

Wel i got a lotta shit to sort out, sooo. talk soon.
