Fever

Back from another trip to Göteborg today. This time we were on a mission.

Perri's dizzy spells prevented her from attending, but we made do without her blissful aura. We booked tickets to Fever Ray months ago, and it kept escaping my mind. Anya hooked us up with accommodation with a German guy she met on a flight from Munich to Göteborg. Only Anya. So anyway we ended up chilling with him, and he took Perri's ticket to the gig.

Anya also hooked us up with a Swede. Her good friend Daniel came along for the adventure and helped me out partially with my Svenska. Dans a really sick dod kinda guy tough. Chill like a Swede and dances like a Russian when the beat presents itself.

So we met Armin (cool as german dude) in Haga, a boho disctrict of Göteborg whilst we were mid fika. Then we went up to the hill where i went on my last trip to G'burg with Linus and Agnes. We sat on the edge and downed a bottle of red wine in the sun, which visted us briefly. Armin is like us, an int. student in Sweden and enjoying the lifestyle.

We looked in some shops, unfortunatly Myrona was closed, I was looking forward to taking Anya there! But we went to willys and picked up some dinner supplies instead. Armin had a cute little apartment for 1, with a mini bathroom and kitchen. It was only 5 mins from the centre as well.

After talking about Power Rangers and German lesbians, and downing a bottle of karamel likör, we went to the city and qued at Storan (the venue). the bus trip drunk was hilarious. Storan was a huge beautiful old building which hosts some big names. The show was incredible. that crazy bitch had a bigfoot/viking costume that covered her face, it was very scandy.

Her band had the sickest outfits too, and a shadowy figure in a wolf mask joined her on stage for a bit, her brother perhaps? unfortuantly she didnt do any songs from The Knife, but its what to expect from a solo project.

After visiting the best 711 int he universe, we ended up at a club called Sticky Fingers, which Armin recommened. This place had a sick band called Suburban Kids With Biblical Names playing, who id heard about before on a poster at school, turns out these bastards are playing in Jönköping on friday, and after the way we danced for them that night, we will be back.

After gettin our fingers sticky we went back and had an fucking great nights sleep at Armins bacheor pad. And i saw a squirrel :) And spent $$ at the Weekday store.. again. Im bad.

Vi ses.
